The MCT NT is also available in the NT LIGHT configuration, that is, a CMM equipped with a light aluminum alloy Z spindle and x-axis "Single Read" system.

- Silicon Carbide Z spindle: the use of this material ensures exceptional performance in terms of rigidity and thermal stability
- Multi-sensor system for automatic compensation of errors due to thermal expansion of structural components.
- "Dual Read" system on both X-spars, enables maintenance of excellent metrological performance up to cross sections of 2500 x 1800 mm
- Spars (X-axis) with controlled expansion
- Optical lines with high resolution free expansion system (0.1µm)
- Can be equipped with a complete fairing and bellows system on the main movable structure (X / Y axes)
