CALIBRATION & Certification

COORD3 is qualified to perform performance verification of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) according to the reference standard UNI EN ISO 10360-2:2010.

Proper metrological verification of the measuring machine ensures:

• Traceability of metrological surveys to national standards

• Evaluation of measurement uncertainty

• Repeatability and reproducibility of results

Calibration with ACCREDIA Certification (UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025)

COORD3 technicians are qualified to carry out the activities of an ACCREDIA-accredited calibration laboratory, LAT 01637 (formerly LAT 294).

Calibrations ensure long-term metrological traceability to national or international standards for instruments and artifacts. These are performed using appropriate equipment and by technically competent personnel.

The scope of activity of each calibration laboratory is defined, for each metrological field, by the physical quantities, instruments, measurement ranges, and uncertainties that the laboratory is capable of assigning to each measurement result.

The LAT 01637 Calibration Laboratory of our affiliate, ASF Metrology, is accredited to operate as an ACCREDIA Calibration Center for the quantities, ranges, and measurement uncertainties listed in the official accreditation table.
